About Kipsongo
Kipsongo is one of the most impoverished informal settlements in Kitale, Trans-Nzoia County. Located near the railway line and municipal dumpsite, residents face extreme challenges including lack of clean water, sanitation, healthcare, and stable income.
Many children in Kipsongo are orphaned or abandoned, forced to live on the streets and scavenge at the dumpsite for survival. The elderly, often forgotten and alone, struggle to meet their most basic needs.
Our outreach program brings essential services, food, clothing, and most importantly — hope and community — to these vulnerable individuals who are often invisible to society.

Our Outreach Programs
We address the immediate needs of Kipsongo residents while building long-term pathways out of poverty through holistic community development.
Feeding Programs
Providing nutritious meals to street children, youth, and elderly residents who face daily food insecurity.
Clothing & Essentials
Distributing clothes, blankets, and essential items to vulnerable community members, especially the elderly.
Shelter Support
Working to provide safe shelter options and housing support for street children and homeless youth.
Community Gatherings
Organizing regular community meetings, prayer sessions, and support groups for spiritual and emotional care.
Elder Care
Special outreach to elderly residents living in poverty, providing food, clothing, and companionship.
Youth Rehabilitation
Supporting street youth to transition off the streets through counseling, skills training, and mentorship.
Stories of Transformation
"Before the outreach program, I had no one. Now I have a community that cares for me. They bring me food, clothes, and most importantly, they remember me."
— Mama Rose, 78, Kipsongo Elder
"I used to sleep on the streets and eat from the dumpsite. The feeding program gave me hope. Now I'm learning skills and dreaming of a better future."
— James, 16, Former Street Youth
